Big Branch Enterprises, LLC has a thorough, multi-point checklist that ensures that no stone is left unturned. I will explain the overall, general condition of the home and its systems to you and your agent after your inspection is complete.
In addition, I will compile a comprehensive Spectora report, delivered online via HTML or PDF format, documenting all of my findings including images, references and further details. This report will be available for you both in a desktop-friendly format and a mobile format so that you can stay in the loop and check your report even when you’re on the go.
Wondering what’s included in a standard home inspection from Big Branch Enterprises, LLC? Here is a quick overview of the services included in your home inspection, and the major systems that I analyze and assess throughout the process.
The roof is one of the most costly and important structures. I will examine the roof, shingles/tiles, coverings, flashing, gutters, downspouts, skylight exteriors, chimneys and more.
I will visually inspect plumbing fixtures for proper function, including water heaters, pipes, faucets, toilets, bathtubs, showers, and sinks, and look for leaks and other such flaws.
I will visually inspect both interior and exterior electrical systems including service drops, service masts, grounding, outlets, main/subpanels, fuse boxes, lights, receptacles, and other such systems.
I will visually inspect the HVAC systems including ducts, thermostats, filters, registers, furnaces and air conditioning units,
This includes the exterior walkways and doors, siding, eaves and soffits, fascia, paint, and other such elements of the home’s exterior.
I will test and examine built-in appliances including dishwashers, ranges, ovens, microwave ovens, disposals, etc..
I will examine the attic and crawl space to ensure it is properly ventilated, including checking storage areas, vapor barriers, etc.
I will examine the foundation, crawlspaces, basements, floor structure, and roof structure to look for signs of things like past water damage, foundation cracking or shifting, and other such potentially expensive issues.
This includes the exterior walkways and doors, windows, siding, trim, eaves and soffits, fascia, decks, and other such elements of the home’s exterior.
